The Keyspeaker of the ESWC 2008 will be announced after March 2008

Keyspeaker: Asa Dotzler

Asa Dotzler is best known for his work as community coordinator for several Mozilla projects. He was an early member of Mozilla’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing Program, which grew under his leadership from just a few contributors when Dotzler joined the project to tens of thousands of volunteers today.

Dotzler is co-founder and community coordinator for the Spread Firefox project, launched in October 2004, where he spearheads open source marketing projects. Spread Firefox is charged with empowering Firefox community members to raise awareness of the popular web browser. He also works with drivers@mozilla.org, the project management group at Mozilla, to define requirements and development roadmaps for the Mozilla projects.

Dotzler has been an active member of the Mozilla community since 1998. After volunteering for more than a year, Dotzler joined the Mozilla organization, and has played a key role in delivering products including the release of Mozilla 1.0 and the release of the Mozilla Firefox web browser and Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail and usenet client.

The schedule covers many topics that interest Independent Software Vendors and brings well-known speakers to our European Software Conference. Events will lighten up the evenings and the Epsilon Award will be given to the winner of the voting process.
